I can push my 6600k to 4.5Ghz and it works well under stress tests, it should handle most AAA games like GTA 5, but in Warzone anything above 4.0 will crash after about 15 minutes, often within the first minute. It's really strange.

It's connected to the OC, but the OC itself isn't the root cause—it's more of a victim. The game is likely responsible. Different engines have varying programming, so for the majority, OC stability issues are rare. However, a small percentage might still encounter problems. No OC is completely stable; altering any parameter drops stability to around 99%. Some programs are better at detecting that rare anomaly and triggering a crash. To mitigate this, you'd need to tweak your OC—adjusting values, c-states, or timing—but success depends on finding the right changes. Results might not be what you expect.

Each program initializes the CPU slightly differently, likely using an AVX load operation. You may need to configure an AVX offset around 4.0Ghz.

It seems the system is crashing even without overclocking, likely due to a power problem. The PSU passed the stress test, but there might be an issue with the game's code injecting into the system and corrupting files, which leads to shutdowns.

The issue seems to have been caused by the game itself. It began shutting down after about one minute, typically within the first five seconds. However, when launching the game in safe mode, it no longer crashed, even when using overclock settings.

Are you boosting boost clocks or the base clock? I noticed my 2500K was stable at 4.6GHz with 1.3V, but if I increased turbo speed to run at that frequency it would fail even with a voltage nearer to 1.35V. I've tried different LLC settings, but nothing worked—stable during prime95 small FTT but crashes when watching YouTube videos. Setting the voltage and clock fixed really made things reliable.

From the limited details provided, it seems the problem probably lies with the OC or the video drivers.
