I frequently play Fortnite, maintaining approximately 144fps consistently. However, occasionally I experience frame drops that I am uncertain about. Recently, after connecting a second monitor, my framerate fluctuates wildly between 30 and 144 frames, significantly degrading the game's performance. Please advise on potential system adjustments or whether an upgrade is necessary.

Streaming uses your CPU or GPU, increasing system load and potentially lowering performance. Reducing settings can mitigate FPS dips. A second screen typically has a minor impact on FPS (approximately 5 FPS for streaming video), though running the game on a main monitor at full-screen windowed mode may improve performance if the primary monitor is 144Hz and the secondary is 60Hz.
