Can this device handle CSGO, Minecraft and And LoL? The ASUS X550JK features an Intel Quad-Core i7 processor at 2.5GHz with 8GB RAM, a 1TB hard drive, and a dedicated graphics card. It runs Windows 8.1 64-bit and should support the games you mentioned.

The performance varies with different configurations. The GTX 850M outperforms the Ati Mobility Radeon HD5650 1GB significantly, while the HD 5650 can achieve around 60 FPS at 1366x768 resolution. Note: My machine features a Phenom II P920 at 1.60GHz, a 320GB hard drive, and 4GB RAM—your setup surpasses it in most areas except screen size.

At just a 1366x768 size, the GPU seems underutilized for that display. The ASUS choice clearly didn’t match expectations. According to notebookcheck, the GTX 850M performs marginally better than the GTX 675MX, which is only slightly ahead of my GTX 670MX. It should handle most games smoothly at low to medium settings—around 45 FPS—and occasionally hit 60 FPS depending on the title. Of course, these numbers are based on a 1080p monitor; the lower resolution will definitely make it easier. Here are some examples from 1366x768: GTA V Medium averages ~65 FPS, Far Cry 4 Medium averages ~60 FPS, Crysis 3 Medium averages ~57 FPS.
