This game runs smoothly at 160FPS on my machine; though I had to turn off Amient Oclusion, dynamic shadows, and set the texture to Medium. My 760s vRAM is consistently above 2GB, and anything exceeding 2200Mb leads to noticeable stutters. It’s frustrating because my system handles it well—even with my FX-8320—but memory usage seems to be the main issue. My FX-8320 performs excellently in this title. RAM consumption reaches 7.2GB. It's frustrating. The game is still in beta with no improvements, so we just pray it gets better!
You'll love it if you choose the AMD 8350 or 9370, since the 9370 is available for just 180 USD.
I intend to switch to an i7 next year. I own the 8320 since 2011. I purchased this model for 110 CAD.
Turn off dynamic shadows, ambient occlusion, and reduce texture quality. These settings improve performance but can lead to stuttering. Your rig should handle it. It takes about 3 seconds.
My GPU has only 2GB of VRAM, but adjusting textures doesn’t influence my CPU performance. My focus is on the VRAM alone. It wouldn’t cause a significant drop from 160FPS to 30FPS if the CPU isn’t limiting. The game’s optimization is still lacking at this stage.
The configuration maintains around 120 frames per second consistently, but I didn't verify the VRAM or CPU usage.
