What are your thoughts on these temperatures for your 4.1GHZ Ryzen 9 3900x?
I've been pushing my Ryzen 9 3900x to see what's possible, and I've noticed it's quite uncommon to hit a stable overclock at 4.2GHZ. Yet I've managed a consistent 4.1GHZ performance with a Vcore of 1.224V. After running a Prime95 stress test for three hours, the peak temperature reached was around 96°C. I understand these tests are artificial, and it's generally safe to say that any workload you apply in such tests won't match real-world demands. This Ryzen seems to handle it well—usually staying under 70°C during intense tasks. So, based on what I experience, this could be a reliable setup for my needs.
I've been pushing my Ryzen 9 3900x to higher settings and found it uncommon to achieve a consistent overclock at 4.2GHZ. Yet, I maintain a stable performance of around 4.1GHZ with a Vcore of 1.224V. After running a Prime95 stress test for three hours, the maximum temperature reached was 96°C. I understand that these tests are artificial and it's generally safe to assume real-world workloads won't match such extremes. This Ryzen seems resilient, handling heavy tasks without overheating—typically staying between 70°C at best. Overall, this appears to be a reliable stable setting for my needs.
