I'm starting the download of TF2 to check its performance. It should work well at the default settings and lower resolutions.

It should perform adequately, though you shouldn't anticipate outstanding outcomes. On an 8350 it operates smoothly at a steady frame rate, dropping to around 40 fps unless I lower the anti-aliasing and antistellar filter settings to trilinear.

I used an Asus K53e for roughly four years with an i3 2310M, 3GB RAM, and Intel HD3000 graphics. It worked fine at first, but now I see how much it lagged behind the newer models like the 6700HQ and 960M.

I believe my initial attempt was with an i5 2340M or an A8 4500M...

Overwatch shares similarities with TF2, yet many find TF2 more straightforward to play.

Your laptop with an A6 7400 processor managed to play TF2 at 1366x768 resolution at 60 frames per second using two MSAA, which should work fine.

Overwatch is quite different from TF2 beneath the surface, yet both offer great enjoyment. It seems Overwatch wouldn't handle TF2 well in any reasonable configurations.

I took a closer look at the CPU and saw it only has 128 stream processors. My laptop has 172. It seems you should be able to run smoothly at high settings without any issues, though it might struggle at medium 60 fps. I’m not sure how well the game is performing lately—Tf2 can slow down significantly at certain points.

I understand OW isn't the same as TF2, but I've heard it resembles it quite a bit. I realize an A8 6410 wouldn't pair well with OW... I'm planning to test it on my PS4.
