What are your thoughts on the 9900k overclock?
This specific model stands out. It seems many of them might only reach frequencies close to what they claim. Without Intel, it’s probable they’d advertise a faster base speed.
I was considering a 9900K but probably wouldn't see much benefit. If I really aimed, I might be able to reach around 5.3 GHz with a 200 MHz offset nonstop, which seems unlikely to help. I doubt a standard 9900K could handle that with both the GPU and CPU at 360 MHz.
Sometimes I wonder if I should just buy a new car instead of keeping up with all the tech upgrades on my computer.
