I've been using this forum for years to assist with my builds yet never posting. Lol, now I'm diving deep into overclocking to squeeze more performance from my current rig. The setup looks like this:
MSI 970 Gaming ATX mobo
AMD FX-6300 Black Edition (cooled by a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO)
Rosewill HIVE 650W PSU
EVGA GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 ACX 2.0
ADATA 8GB (2x4GB) @1333mhz
WD Blue 1TB 7200 HDD
I’m sure it can handle decent games, but I’m aiming to boost FPS even more. I use MSI's OC Genie for overclocking, which works well but I’m curious if there’s more I can push. My CPU is stable at 4.1Ghz, but pushing the GPU further than stock with EVGA Precision X causes crashes. Any suggestions or improvements?

Avoid using SW to process the processor, opt for BIOS instead.
