Hey everyone, I’m facing some issues with my PC that often restart on its own. I suspect the power supply might be damaged due to frequent power outages and unstable voltage in my area. There aren’t many choices available, but I’ve come across two power supplies that seem reasonable.

1) CORSAIR RM750 CP-9020234-EU 80+ GOLD 750W – around £154
2) MSI MPG A650GF 80+ GOLD 650W – around £139

I’m leaning towards the Corsair model because it offers 100W more for about £15 extra, though I’d appreciate some advice.

Here are my PC specs:
- Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- CPU Cooler: MSI Mag CoreLiqiud 240R V2
- RAM: 2 x PNY 8GBF1X08QFHH38-135-K DDR4-3200MHz CL16
- SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVME M.2 1TB
- HDD: ST1000VX005-2EZ102 (Seagate SkyHawk 1TB)
- GPU: MSI Radeon RX 6650 XT
- PSU: Cougar CMX 700W 80+ Bronze
- Chassis: MSI Mag Forge 112R
- OS: Windows 11
- Monitor: Philips PHL 242E1GJ 144Hz

Both options are adequate and sufficient for your setup. Is there any ATX3.0 model left?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with PSU's and whether they represent a new build style for ATX cases. I don't think they're widely available in my area.

The basic idea of quality is a warranty. Seven years is acceptable, ten would be ideal.
Ignoring all other factors, excessive provisioning helps the psu operate more smoothly and quietly.

I get that too. I've been browsing many databases in Cybenetics and watching Gamer Nexus videos about power supplies.
Because there aren't many choices nearby and shipping is hard due to restrictions, I think I'll buy a power supply when I'm away on vacation and bring it back with me 🤷‍♂️
