It's not always a construction error, but I dislike seeing prebuilt units with just a single stick of RAM.

back a long time ago I had a motherboard with DDR1 and DDR2 RAM slots, and I filled all of them with 6GB or something I don’t remember clearly. when i started using the pc, there was only 1GB of ram left, which really frustrated me 😤
🙁 later i found out that ddr1 and ddr2 aren’t supposed to work together if they’re in the same motherboard 🤦‍♂️

another "funny" incident occurred while I was working at a PC store (around 2010). I managed to assemble a PC, but somehow it wouldn’t start. After swapping the CPU and trying again, nothing worked. Then I replaced the motherboard, but it still wouldn’t boot. I tried another CPU and new motherboard, and they finally started. However, I ended up replacing multiple CPUs and motherboards, burning around 10 boards in total. Even now, no one knows why it happened. 😄
