Hey, I've been using my PC for about a year without any problems. Recently, I started playing COD MW3 (2023) and noticed my core temp going up to around 75-80°C during long sessions. I'm using the cooler that came with the box and a 5600x, wondering if those temps are okay. I usually aim for under 70°C, but gaming pushes it higher. Should I be concerned or upgrade my cooler? Thanks!

It shouldn't cause any problems. Consider lowering the speed to avoid overheating. A top-tier assassin would handle it, but it should work just fine now.

Understood. I'm a bit intrigued by the OP's cooling configuration, but the temperature setting for a 5600x seems quite high. I haven't used my 5600x with the included coolers before, so I'm not sure much.

It's secure and performs well as long as it stays away from temperatures near 95°C.
