In the 1650s, the gap shouldn't be significant. Modern power-efficient GPUs now make laptop versions more similar to desktop models than they used to be, with many current ones nearly matching older ones just by adjusting clock speeds.

I’m not sure if this works for the GTX 1650, but I’ve noticed reviews showing big differences between laptops using the same GPU. The performance really depends on each laptop’s thermal and power capabilities. For laptops, it’s important to check reviews of the exact model you’re thinking about.
