Your budget is up to $2500 USD.
The notebook size you're thinking about is 16 inches.
You prefer a screen resolution of either 2560x1460 or 3200x1600.
You require a portable laptop, not a desktop replacement.
You need a longer battery life.
You’d like to play games on your laptop; if yes, please specify the titles and desired settings (Low, Medium or High).
You also want to edit photos/videos, especially astrophotography.
You need at least 1 tb of hard drive space plus an extra slot.
No specific purchase sites were mentioned.
You plan to keep the laptop for 5 years or more.
You don’t need a DVD ROM/Writer or Bluray ROM/Writer drive.
Your preferred brands are Lenovo and Asus.
You don’t like Lenovo or Asus, so those are excluded.
Your preferred country is India.
Processor: 14900 hx, RAM: 16/32 GB, better read/write speeds.
Display should have a minimum of 165 Hz refresh rate and good build quality.
After-sales support is important to you.
You’re considering Lenovo Legion Pro 5, Legion 7 and Asus ROG Strix G16 (2024 models).

1. sounds like your about 1/3 the way sadly. or 1/2 at best.
5. Laptop batteries haven't changed at all as they are limited by the joke of a 100wh size limit. in gaming the battery will be dead in like 25mins.
Apart from high end gaming and editing, thinkpads are pretty much the best you can get, tough, amazing quality and reliability-the best in this catagory imo. But for hard core gaming at those res and frame rates a dedicated gaming laptop will be needed and it will coast a lot.
Make sure it has an air gap of 1inch at least under it, i use square soft silicone toys and can even use it on my bed without overheating.
