Total Annihilation is a solid classic strategy title. The Battletech experience works well as well. All Civilization entries are decent choices.

Do you enjoy strategy games with tactical depth? Stellaris, GSG, EU4 or CK3 blends? HOI4 in arcade or casual mode? Civilization with expansions? Without extra content it loses appeal fast. Civ BE is a spin-off with a unique twist but feels somewhat dull. Classic online RTS? AOE4 offers micro-management and logistics challenges. Anno series, especially the latest Anno 1800.

Consider trying Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate in the combat section. It supports multiplayer too.
