When you see the breakdown in Task Manager, each core handles its assigned tasks while threads run concurrently. The numbers indicate how many cores are active at any time, with each core supporting multiple threads for parallel processing.

Your 6900K appears correctly in Windows. The AM4 motherboard hasn't arrived yet, but I think the same will happen with the Ryzen.
