GPU: AMD 7900 XT
I've been checking my GPU's power usage lately and it's got me puzzled.
I used three monitoring tools—MSI Afterburner, HW INFO, and AMD Adrenaline.
The issue is that while MSI and Adrenaline display values close together, the power information indicates the GPU's maximum power is significantly higher.
For instance, MSI and Adrenaline show 150–160 Watts, but HW info reports a steady 300+!
So, what's the actual power consumption?
Keep in mind that all three programs agree when the system is idle, but the discrepancy becomes clear under load.

Hey there,
Your GPU can handle up to 300w when fully loaded.
What about the rest of your specifications? Are MSI and Adrenalin current? Have all your system drivers and BIOS been updated?

All my drivers and programs, except bios, are current. I understand that under heavy usage the GPU consumes around 320 to 330 watts, and the M-series and adrenaline confirm this accurately during stress tests. But these numbers are far from peak load. From the screenshots, the workload was at 69%, while M-series and adrenaline indicate it was between 135 to 160 watts. The hardware information shows 300+ and a stable output, not just sudden spikes. Who can I rely on?

Have you attempted removing the GPU driver using ddu followed by a fresh installation?

It could be useful to revise the bios to exclude that possibility.
Did you remove and then reinstall the GPU driver with ddu?

GPU Power Maximum appears to be a historical peak. Consider checking the Total Board Power and Total Graphics Power figures instead. Also, note that integrated graphics are turned on with the RX 7900XT installed. It might be wise to disable integrated graphics in the BIOS unless you need extra monitors connected. This will release RAM allocated for integrated graphics and reduce power usage.

It needs to be turned off in BIOS. Otherwise, the reserved memory isn't released.
