Hey, for your laptop with an old Celeron, what OS should you install? You've tried Windows 7, Windows 10 1809, various Linux distros, Android x86, and Chrome OS Flex. Many have problems with drivers or lag when playing 1080p videos. What advice do you need?

If none of the operating systems functioned, even Linux, it could indicate a hardware issue. Possibly a faulty hard drive. Unfortunately, repairing older laptops isn't very affordable. Consider donating or allowing it to stop working naturally.

1080p especially from the internet and not a file on your PC demands significant CPU power and/or a relatively new GPU with hardware decoders for at least h.264. If none of the operating systems you've tried can handle video, the laptop simply can't play that size, so stick with DVDs for older laptops.
