So some time ago I acquired a new ram (Gskill ripjaws V 3600 mhz) and thought I could push it to 3600 mhz. At that point my processor was a ryzen 5 2600 and an asus rog strix b450 f gaming. After learning the limits, I settled for 2933 mhz instead. I found it strange since my friend had the same board and a ryzen 5 3600 with corsair vengeance rgb pro 3200 mhz, who easily overclocked to 3200 mhz without issues. The main issue was that whenever I tried to overclock, my computer would frequently crash with blue screens.

It should have functioned with older CPUs as well. Now, with the latest BIOS, enabling DOCP should suffice.

I experienced the same problem with my 2600, unable to exceed 3066mhz. With the same motherboard and a 3600 model, I can now reach 3800mhz.
