I upgraded to a Ryzen 5 2600 and kept the same GPU, but my first PCIe slot didn’t show anything. The second one worked. I’m unsure why it behaves this way. I tried updating BIOS, but couldn’t locate chip configuration or integrated GPU settings.
The Ryzen 2600 lacks built-in graphics, causing the video connectors on the motherboard's I/O shield to malfunction. Just the 960 video card is capable of sending video signals. Open the BIOS and search for an entry like "primary video card" with settings for integrated or PCIe options.
Place your GPU in the top x16 slot fully extended. Ensure your monitor is linked to the GPU, then attempt a CMOS reset. If it doesn’t work, it might be a dead slot or a faulty CPU mount.
