Today I attempted to install new RAM. Here’s my setup summary. After installation, when I powered on the PC, I received a long beep followed by two short ones. Before this, my system ran in single-channel mode with a 16 GB DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 chipset since 2020. I recently bought another identical RAM module, but it still triggers the same error code regardless of configuration or stick used. My system details are: CPU Ryzen 5 3200, GPU GTX 1660, Hard Drive Western Digital 2TB Blue, ASUS TUF Gaming A520M-PLUS (WiFi). Any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thank you ahead of time.
The code indicates it fails to recognize the memory modules. If resetting the BIOS doesn’t resolve the issue, test with just one stick in socket DIMM_B2. If that still doesn’t work, reinsert the CPU as the memory controller is inside it and a faulty pin could prevent proper connection.
I've tested everything I could find. None of the solutions have helped. I removed the BIOS battery, changed to just DIMM_B2, and reinserted my CPU. I'm really stuck right now.
I did these actions and posting began, but now I’m facing a completely different problem. My Windows is attempting to fix itself and I can’t even restore my PC.
