Consider an R5 3600 with B450, potentially losing around 5% FPS at most while saving half the cost. On a 1440p or higher screen, the performance gap between these Intel parts and the R5 will be nonexistent.
if you're just gaming, the 10600kf is more than enough and performs similarly as games do not scale up to 8 cores. though i'd wait for ampere to launch and check the 3070 as that seems promising and look to be quite a bit faster than the 2070 for the same price, though budget for the whole build? and what do you already have? workload? and location? as i said, wait for ampere to come out and zen 3 if possible and check what it has to offer.
