I updated my budget to 600 USD per PC recently. Due to my limited funds, I had to opt for a more affordable PSU. I purchased the Apevia Jupiter Bronze 600W PSU. I observed that occasionally when I turn off the PSU, it briefly switches back on for less than a second before shutting down again. My entire computer lights up and then goes back to being off. I suspect the PSU switch might be faulty. I’m not sure if this poses any danger. Should I replace the PSU?

You frequently turn off the PSU because it's likely faulty, as indicated by the warning on the E:Avoid section of the tierlist.

It happens when the table shakes, the computer turns on without warning. I believe the issue might be with my keyboard. Is this a safety concern? I’m struggling financially and don’t want to spend money on a new power supply unless it risks failure.

It’s probably meant to be avoided for a good reason—it might be unstable and could damage your PC parts or even cause a fire. Don’t try to handle that power supply with extreme force.

It's surprising how much trouble a bad PSU can create. It might slowly fail by puffing out dangerous smoke, or it could completely destroy your device. Even small issues can harm parts and lead to problems. Get it fixed right away—both for saving money and keeping yourself safe.

Yeah... that PSU seems like a bunch of old parts, maybe even a fire risk.... If it fails (it probably will), you might lose the motherboard, CPU, SSD, graphics card... possibly one or more of those.

I understand you're concerned about your PC's safety, but I can't recommend using it without a proper power supply. It's better to invest in a reliable PSU before relying on your current one. Your system has been functioning well so far, but long-term risks remain.
