Hey! I've been experiencing a serious lag issue on my PC for months, which really affected my esports performance. Everything works fine at startup, but after about five minutes it starts to slow down significantly. I've tried almost every fix online—new mouse, full Windows reinstall, numerous registry changes—but nothing helps. Eventually, I took it to a local shop where they diagnosed it as a power supply issue. They replaced the PSU today, but the problem persists. It's still $80 out of the window and the lag remains.

I wouldn't expect much more than trouble from any $80 power supply. What is the make and model? This issue might be linked to several components. Which specific tests did this shop carry out? What was their reasoning for thinking it was the power supply? I wouldn't risk calling it a "career" if you can't even afford to replace the system you're using, and $80 feels like a significant loss.

Be quiet, pure power 11 500w
You see, not everyone can handle a 100+$ PSU, and I don’t know how my finances connect to esports.
The computer store uses a multimeter to check the voltages, but it didn’t turn out very well.

And the capacity of the SSD? How much space is it using?

I thoroughly cleared all of them several times during the Windows reinstall process.

what someone can manage financially for a power supply helps decide whether to invest the whole amount in the system or opt for a dependable, tested build.
the Pure Power 11 500w is generally rated for around $105.
if you spot a newer model during a sale, it’s a good choice.
for someone involved in eSports, this would align with travel to events, prize wins, and sponsorships—factors that define a career path.
if it’s just a casual hobby at home with no deeper commitment, it doesn’t qualify as a career.
what testing methods were used for the other parts?
did they swap components with a known working unit one by one?
we still need complete specifications of all parts to assess this properly.
you haven’t provided details on the make and model of:
RAM, CPU cooling, case (including cooling), GPU—whether it’s third-party or Nvidia-branded,
storage devices, any third-party cable adapters, etc.,
plus all connected accessories.
