If you suspect the issue lies with the software, perform a clean boot. Follow the instructions carefully and avoid disabling any Microsoft services—Windows should load properly. If this resolves the problem, it likely points to a startup program conflict. It might also be due to another program interfering.
well i switched to another keyboard and everything functions properly, so it's likely related to the software or hardware. the keyboard itself is clean though...

Did you remove the keys from the keyboard? My Logitech G610 was doing that, and even after using canned air, it kept activating the "X" key. I believed the can of air would help. I watched a U-Tube video to learn how to take off the keys and discovered many dust particles being blown around. After cleaning, it works perfectly again.
I also mentioned something similar. Used to remove my keys from the G910 because dust and hair collect under the caps often. It didn’t happen as frequently on my Corsair K70 since the keys aren’t placed as close to the base plate, making it harder to get hair in. Probably needs some air blowing through soon. Keep forgetting.
Hello, thank you for the answers. The issue still remains. I didn’t perform a clean boot yet. I also tried using the keyboard on another PC with just two programs installed, but it was still problematic. I used a basic Microsoft keyboard and everything worked fine, so the problem must be with the keyboard itself. I blew the keys, but they looked quite clean—so strange it’s weird.
