so in my system i have a 1700x overclocked to 3.9 ghz and an rx 580 8gb, no matter what settings i have the game on it seems to just barely get over 60fps why is this
( and yes all drivers are up to date)

I would estimate...CPU per core performance constraints?
Keep an eye on your GPU usage while playing the game—if it isn’t at full capacity, that suggests something might be limiting its performance. However, 580 is relatively low overall, so the Ryzen should handle it without major issues.

Yes, approximately 60 frames per second is likely correct. Are you using 1080p or 1440p resolution?

I'm playing in 1080p but the game's performance doesn't seem to boost the FPS regardless of the settings I use.

It seems like the Ryzen 1700x might be the issue. With a 2700x, your FPS remains stable regardless of settings, and it doesn't respond to overclocking the GPU.
