Select your wallpaper and open NVIDIA Control Panel or Display Settings. Set your resolution to the suggested one, or for better performance, reduce it to half of the recommended value on both sides. It might depend on whether you're using a laptop or desktop, but it should work either way. A quick restart could also improve things if you're already running native resolution.
