In short, I’m facing a peculiar issue: browsing the web with a browser on Windows 11 is significantly slower than expected. My SpeedTest shows around 340Mbps, while downloading from other apps like Steam or Epic Games reaches about 40MB/s—perfect. However, when I use any browser (Edge Stable, Beta, Dev, Canary, Firefox, Chrome, Chrome Canary, Vivaldi), the speed drops to roughly 1MB/s. I’ve confirmed it’s not a server-side issue, as it works across all websites. There are several reasons I’ve tried: the problem persists on another OS running on a secondary SSD (Linux or Windows), it improves when switching to a different OS, and even after a clean Windows 11 install, the speed remains low. I’ve disabled the firewall, reset network settings, run sfc /scannow, and attempted an in-place upgrade, but nothing resolves it. I’m considering a full reinstall, but I’m worried this could repeat later. Someone else experiencing the same issue would appreciate any advice or insights.
