Over the past month, whenever I use Google Chrome for more than a couple of minutes, my entire internet connection suddenly stops working. It affects not just my computer but also resets the router. I can play online games for hours without any slowdowns or issues. Even when I stream YouTube live, everything runs smoothly. Usually it happens right after opening Chrome and browsing the web. My setup uses a Cat6 cable directly into my router, and when the internet is back online, speeds are near maximum for my location. It seems my ISP only provides 120Mbps down and 10Mbps up in my area—so it’s not because of a sudden speed boost that exceeds the connection limits. If anyone has any suggestions or clues about what’s going on, I’d really appreciate it. Anthony

Check for firmware releases from the router maker. These kinds of updates are why I moved to software firewalls such as pfSense a long time ago.
