I've checked all the resources available online. This is the final update for version w10. I have it on another system, but my primary rig isn't updating to it. Why? Is there an error log I can review? There were some installation issues before, but we'll try again later. If you continue encountering this and wish to look up information or reach out to support, this might be useful: (0x80071a2d). Usually I'd wait for the next update, as it resolves itself, but since it's the last one, it's important for future security patches.

Yes, we can capture a screenshot. Also, is there enough storage space on the system?

I experienced a comparable problem where some system files became corrupt and motherboard drivers were missing. I verified the device manager, confirmed drivers were installed properly, performed a disk check to resolve errors, and executed sfc /scannow to repair system files. Conducted virus and malware scans, used the Windows Update Troubleshooter, rebooted the system, and completed all updates successfully. Everything is now functioning normally.

This was a coincidence, I was about to share it, but there was another one. I had to install the update when the yellow icon shows up on the start button. While holding Shift, I clicked Restart, chose Safe Boot, and then restarted again. After that, the update was applied correctly, and I’m now part of the security update program.
