I'm curious about how long it usually takes to finish a game. Do you have a typical time commitment for gaming each day or week? I'm not sure how much time I usually spend playing, as my schedule can change. I think it's a hobby for me, but it doesn't bother me much since I don't always have time to play. Completing a game like Fallout would take me several months, which is great because I don't have to deal with delays or wait for releases. I'm currently on other titles, so it's not a priority right now.
It really varies. I spend nine hours each day working but manage to play games for four to five hours daily. On some days I skip gaming completely because my partner needs my attention.
Varies by project. I wrapped up my first storyline in Fallout 4 in roughly a week, with weekends packed for long sessions. Shorter titles usually fit into one or two days (CoD Ghosts needed two days). Factoring in travel and work, I’m around 10 hours off my PC each day. Six to seven hours sleep counts in, and the rest is split between gaming and other distractions.
I spend 40 hours each week working and only about 1.5 hours driving daily. My schedule varies with family needs, but I’m engaged and my fiancé understands I enjoy gaming. Since we don’t have kids, I manage some free time for gaming. As a YouTuber, I mainly focus on recording SC2, not single-player sessions.
I spend around 60 hours each week, but I manage to fit in some gaming late at night. I mainly play on Sundays. A typical 6-hour campaign usually takes a week, but Fallout has taken me about 74 hours so far.
I work long hours and have a newborn. I've been playing Witcher 3 for months but haven't finished it. I manage only a few hours each week.
