The 5090 has design flaws. They might have implemented safeguards for the board, but chose not to. A dual power connector design was possible, yet they didn’t adopt it. I don’t mind how powerful the card is, but I wouldn’t buy one, even at the listed price. Most are priced near $3000! That’s not worth it. I’d prefer to stick with my old system for a couple more years until AMD releases better models.
