Identify the source of delay in your network. If your router shows less than 1ms, the majority of the issue likely comes from your internet service provider, and you should either switch providers or contact your ISP about any automatic data merging they enable. For DSL connections, reach out to them to check if any interleaving features are active, as these can affect performance but may cause packet loss on poor lines.

Improving your ping is a broad topic, any issues you face usually involve just a few factors—either a specific device or possibly the ISP. You might switch providers, get nearer to the server, or have someone inspect your connection if the line is weakening.

Connect via Ethernet. Pick a nearby game server. Move nearer to it.

QOS requires careful handling; otherwise, performance will decline and speeds may drop.

Ping relies on your distance from the game server. For instance, being in the Philippines with a server in France results in a ping between 200-300MS. The best way to reduce it is by getting closer to France.

Consider more focused solutions. Opt for wired connections. Add a particle accelerator. Explore other alternatives.
