I'm frustrated with Mozilla and Firefox right now. The slowness, lack of real progress, and the recent crash that destroyed my tabs have made me disillusioned. Maybe Firefox will improve someday, but I won't wait. Waterfox seems to offer some benefits, especially its 64-bit support. Switching might be worth considering. I don't think Chrome is a good choice; I'd prefer IE over it.

With 4GB it's a beginning, though it consumes a lot of memory like crazy.

I don't believe it matters unless you're a tab whore (I'm not one, which is why I use Chrome).

Switched from Firefox to Waterfox. WinNut mentioned it’s a big improvement, especially for stability. I haven’t experienced crashes lately, and I often keep around 300 tabs organized in groups.

I don't understand. I'm just a tab whore, and regular Firefox works well for me.

Just set it up and it auto-added my profile without any effort from me. Really convenient. I’ll give it another try and check how Firefox performs after a few updates.

Sorry to interrupt, but I’m also tired of Firefox’s issues. How does Waterfox perform in the URL bar? For instance, if I close the tab here and type a keyword from the thread’s title, can I still search effectively? I might be exaggerating my concerns...

It seems you've already received your profile. This is essentially a streamlined version of Firefox.
