In a way, I believe a general guideline works quite well, though it shouldn't take the place of thorough preparation. It seems to suit this situation nicely.

True, I've mentioned similar points before, but let's make a strong effort to remind you about the importance of learning proper calculations too.

No need for an apology, no assumptions made here.
In fairness, determining TDP would enable the OP to make a much better-informed decision than relying on a simple calculation method.

I hope the forum had a feature to link nicks in topics so people are notified about them.
I understand JackNaylorPE has worked on things like "radiator," "watts," and "calculator" somewhere, which might help clarify this issue.
Personally, I stick to a straightforward rule when it comes to watercooling and radiators: fit as many cases as you can manage. If that’s not enough, upgrade the case or start modifying. 😊

I possess a radiator/wattage calculator I constructed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5w1t7kanqykb6d...s.zip?dl=0 It appears in our meta-index for overclocking, cooling, and liquid cooling discussions:

I follow a straightforward rule when it comes to watercooling and radiators: use as many cases as you can handle. If not enough, upgrade the case or start modifying.
Haha, I get it! I just moved my system into a Core X9 case for this reason.
