4.2ghz at 1.155V reaching up to 90c in Prime95. CPUZ Core Voltage shows 1.328, is that correct or did I make a mistake?

Other versions of prime cause overheating issues. Consider using alternative benchmarks like super pi or cinebench. If temperatures remain similar, you're likely running too hot. Water cooling should suffice. Inspect thermal paste, pump, fans, etc. After resolving the cooling, verify your Vcore: 1.33V is excessive and can shorten CPU lifespan. Adjust it in BIOS to 1.25V (avoid Auto mode). Observe the improved performance speed—aim for at least 4.4Ghz.

Some versions of prime cause overheating. Consider using a different benchmark like super pi or cinebench. If temperatures remain similar, you're likely running too hot. Water cooling should suffice. Inspect thermal paste, pump, fans, etc. After fixing the cooling, check your Vcore: 1.33V is excessive and can shorten CPU life. Adjust Vcore in BIOS to 1.25V (avoid Auto). Expect improved performance, ideally above 4.4Ghz. I'll try a different benchmark, but my current setting shows 1.1V and 4.1Ghz with no improvement. My idle temps are at 28°C, so fans are functioning properly. Can I just use a poor i7 or is there another issue?

CPU-Z will display 1.33V regardless of the BIOS setting you configure.
