Water leak and DRAM diagnostic indicator light
I accidentally dropped a bit of water on the top of my computer on Friday. The machine was turned off, and I dried any visible moisture and left it to dry for about 36 hours. It looked completely dry. When I turned it back on, it didn’t start up properly—no POST. However, all the external devices and RGB components lit up. I own an MSI B550 A PRO motherboard, and the CPU debug light was active. After reinserting the CPU, it still wouldn’t power on, and now the DRAM debug light is on. I’ve tried clearing CMOS, tested each RAM stick in its slot, replaced them all, but nothing worked. The issue persists. Could you suggest possible solutions or parts that might need replacement? It’s strange how a small spill could affect things when the system was off.
