Water cooling in the NZXT S340
Water cooling in the NZXT S340
Thinking about assembling a new PC in the NZXT S340
I need to know if there are specific connectors or parts meant for attaching a reservoir on the right side. Should I drill holes myself or use pre-made fittings? Thanks in advance š
I own a complete watercooling system in a Corsair 250D. Cooling water is feasible in many situationsājust require some creative thinking and avoid relying solely on kits, as compatibility with your case is important.
I wouldn't use water cooling in the S340 unless it had an aio cooler. My attempts with a loop were very difficult and looked bad. I ended up using my pump outside, which was uncomfortable. The fans didnāt fit properly on the radiator with the reservoir, and my other two 120mm radiators couldnāt fit due to the motherboard headsinks for VM mode. It was really frustrating. I returned it immediately and got a Corsair 750D. I prefer the 750D, but itās twice as expensive and much larger because itās a full tower case.

I ended up leaving my pump exposed, and the fans couldn't fit properly due to the radiator design and motherboard layout. It was really frustrating. I returned it quickly and got a Corsair 750D. While I personally prefer the 750D, it's more expensive and larger than a full tower case. Thanks for your feedback!
