Water Cooling Help Needed
Hello everyone, this is my debut on the platform and I hope you can offer some guidance. I just set up the EK A240g loop in my system and wanted to share a few thoughts I have. This is my first loop of this type, so I’m trying to be careful with my questions.
Firstly, my pump is producing a slight sound. It’s not extremely loud, and when I search for similar issues, most responses suggest it’s usually due to air inside the pump or a potential fault. I’m not sure what the normal noise level should be, but it’s only noticeable when you’re very close to it.
Secondly, I notice some air bubbles on the side of the reservoir. People often say it will clear up over time or that shaking the case helps. I’ve already moved and adjusted the case quite a bit. Now I don’t see any big bubbles coming from the radiator or the blocks. Should I wait a bit longer, or is there something I’m missing? Also, the tubing looks clear—no bubbles visible in it. The pump has been running for about two hours during the leak test.
I’d really appreciate any advice on this matter. Please let me know if this is the right place to ask.
Thank you all for your time and support. I’ve been coming back to this site for years whenever I face a problem, and I’ve found solutions in other people’s posts that have saved me a lot of stress and money. I truly value all the help you’ve provided over the years.
Those tiny bubbles are okay...they should come out on their own, though you might occasionally see a few. That’s nothing to worry about.
Also, your noise level is acceptable—you can barely hear anything, which is normal.
No concerns with what you’ve said, but it’s always wise to ask!
