I have a question about coolant. I'm planning to build a computer with blue and red LED fans and violet coolant. The only issue is I can't find that color. So my question is, can I mix red and blue coolant so I can get violet, or is that not recommended? And if it's not good, could you recommend a store that sells this color coolant?

Usually I advise against using coolants. When employing colored tubing or colored water, opt for dyes and a growth inhibitor instead.

It's usually not advised to use colored coolant because it may lead to clogs over time from particle accumulation. A better choice is to purchase violet tubing for your system. The difference in performance will be negligible. I don't have any information about whether mixing colors is safe or not.

Additionally, also note that these substances begin to lose their color and become more viscous. For colored coolants, simply employ distilled water combined with dyes.
