Hey everyone, I've accidentally spilled water inside my computer. I didn't realize it was there until I tried to boot it up and only the RAM lights came on. I turned it off, took it apart, and dried it with a hair dryer. After a few days, I reassembled it and the same problem happened again. To figure it out, I tried turning it on and off gradually, noticing the lights and fans activated when the GPU wasn't connected. Since I didn't have another GPU to test, I ordered one for comparison. I'm unsure if turning it on now could damage the new GPU, so I'm worried but also unsure. Should I take it to a repair shop or just install it and see how it goes?
You can connect a beeper to your motherboard to receive diagnostic beep codes. Look up BIOS Beep Code online for guidance. Be careful—don’t connect any other parts until you understand the issue. If you're unsure, bring it to a repair shop for assistance.
