I suggest using ventoy as the simplest choice. Just run the executable, click install, it processes in about 2 seconds, and save the ISO to a USB drive.

I’m a bit concerned I’ve strayed from the main subject earlier with that long rant. For me, I’ll stick to the official tool and a straightforward guide. It consistently performs well with minimal effort required. That was especially true when assisting others on Discord and similar platforms. For personal use, other programs also function just fine. *edit* The core idea here is the most straightforward approach for this issue. About 95% of the time, it’s someone unfamiliar with tech who spends a weekend trying to assemble a PC, often confused about where to connect each cable. Once they reach the end, they usually just need a link to an official Windows download and a USB drive. Tools like Ventoy are simple, but the site is basic—downloads go to GitHub, which can be intimidating. You’ll have to guide them to the exact Windows installer and explain how to handle ZIP files. These small details often become big obstacles during remote tech support, so it’s important to address them clearly.

Only adjusted the secure boot platform key after turning off the CSM option in BIOS. Does the CMOS battery trick bring back all BIOS configurations? Right now I’ve removed everything from the motherboard except the NVMe drive and CPU. I’ll wait a few hours before reconnecting everything.
