Attempting to maximize visibility for this situation. Recently had my Steam account compromised two days ago but managed to regain control and update my password. So far, at least seven individuals have been affected. A notification has been sent requesting votes for their CSGO team via a link that prompts linking your Steam account. Could you consider creating a video summarizing this issue to help raise awareness? It would be costly if this continues, as Steam seems indifferent and only reacts after complaints arise. It’s really frustrating that the company prioritizes financial interests over user safety. Thanks, SRS13Rastus.

Very old scam, no shock that it's still as strong as ever.

To assist others in avoiding phishing attempts, consider these actions: Submit the URL to Safe Browsing at the provided link. Contact the abuse email of the domain registrar using the lookup tool. Check the Steam support page for user-specific guidance.

It's clever to share your Steam credentials with platforms outside of Steam itself.

Avoid sharing your login info with others or accessing other sites besides store.steampowered.com. Enable multi-factor authentication. Never reuse passwords across platforms. Don’t click on unsolicited links from unknown sources.

A Steam account is an online identity used to access and manage games on the Steam platform. /s Note: Speeds were reportedly limited to 802.11b standards.

Seems like a Steam train conductor's account might be in play.

Steam or Valve isn't responsible for errors caused by your actions. Enabling two-factor authentication on your email and Steam account would have prevented issues, even with a shared password—though you should avoid using the same password across multiple accounts.

These schemes have been around for a long time on nearly any popular platform where account trading or theft makes money.
