It's also an OEM product. You can't technically fit it into different configurations (like swapping a motherboard). However, they don't have any means to detect this.

Reinstall it still, though. OEMs should match one per system. Microsoft views the situation as a motherboard. If the board changes, you must reactivate the key. Each OEM grants one activation per key, while retail allows unlimited activations per key. You might want to test on a different motherboard if needed. If not... get a new key.
