Hello! I just received a pure base 500 and thought it would be smart to get an AIO to make it look more stylish than my Wraith Stealth setup. I forgot my B450 BS3H doesn’t have a pump header, and only has one sys fan. That’s why I’m getting a fan splitter from Coolermaster ML240L, but I’m not sure how to connect everything properly. Could someone explain the process? I’m really unsure and would appreciate any tips. (Also, if you need to know, there’s a deepcool fanhub that might help.)
So why think about getting an air conditioner when you're on a tight budget? Besides giving it a more stylish appearance.
The two fan headers on your board are sufficient to operate and manage the AIO pump and radiator fans (which use a splitter). If you have additional case fans, you'll need to connect them via the HUB mentioned. To connect the HUB, insert it into your board's CPU header and power it using the appropriate input (typically SATA or Molex). Your board also features an RGB header, as specified in the manual—confirm whether you own the ML240L RGB model. If not, you're fine. Otherwise, refer to the wiring instructions provided.
