Was ein CPU-Austausch von einem Ryzen 7 5700G auf einen Ryzen 7 5800X durchgeführt worden und führt nun zu Problemen?
The specifications are as follows:
GPU: PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Fighter 12GB
Ram: Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2x16GB 3200
Motherboard: B550 aorus elite rev 1.3
Bios: FG
PSU: NZXT C750 PSU
SSD: Kingston NV2 2TB M.2 SSD
I recently purchased an AMD Ryzen 5800X, but when replacing it with my Ryzen 7 5700G it won’t boot or even start. After putting the 7 5700G back in, everything works again, so I suspected a defective CPU. Only after returning it and getting a new one did the same issue occur. Now I’m unsure how to fix this, having tried everything—my BIOS is up to date, CMOS reset, and cleared any remaining power issues.
Please help because I don’t know what to do anymore.
step 1. after installing 5700g, configure your BIOS to use default configurations.
update the motherboard's BIOS to the most recent release. (if applicable, skip this step).
step 2. open your computer's BIOS/UEFI interface.
enter the BIOS/UEFI settings:
as the system boots, press the appropriate key repeatedly to access the BIOS/UEFI configuration. This key varies but commonly includes Del, F2, F10, or F12.
find the fTPM configuration:
move to the "Advanced" or "Security" section.
search for a TPM or Trusted Computing setting.
it could be labeled as "fTPM Switch," "AMD fTPM," "Trusted Platform Module," or "Security Device Support."
disable the option:
change the setting from "Enabled" to "Disabled."
some boards offer alternatives like "TPM," "fTPM," or "Discrete TPM," allowing manual selection or complete disabling.
save and close:
navigate to the "Exit" tab or select "Save Changes and Exit."
confirm your decision to save and exit.
step 3. install your new CPU, cooler, etc., and power on your PC.
you’ll receive a notification indicating a new CPU has been detected.
return to BIOS and set your RAM back to XMP or AMD equivalent if available.
