Was die Call of Duty MW Beta Ground War-System anspruchsvoll?
Hey everyone,
Me and a friend have been testing the Call of Duty MW Beta recently. We're thinking about using the ground war mode. Does anyone know if it might put a strain on his system?
He has an Intel 8600k, 16GB RAM at 3200MHz DDR4, a 120GB SSD, a 2TB HDD, and a GTX 970 reference card.
Any feedback would be helpful.
A key condition is having a graphics card that supports DirectX 12. Below are the additional details required to launch the game:
Operating System: Windows 7 64-Bit (SP1) or Windows 10 64-Bit (1709 or newer).
Processor: Intel Core i5 2500k or equivalent AMD processor.
Display: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2GB / GTX 1650 4GB or AMD Radeon HD 7950.
Memory: 8GB RAM.
And for the beta testing, the suggested configuration is:
Operating System: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest Service Pack).
Processor: Intel Core i7 4770k or equivalent AMD processor.
Display: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB / GTX 1660 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580.
Memory: 16GB RAM.
It seems he is likely running Windows 10 with the most recent updates, which should comfortably satisfy both the minimum and recommended specs. Any problems that occur are typical in a beta phase and will be resolved as patches are released.
I didn’t test the ground war mode, but I focused on domination. With my rig—a Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2070—I managed to keep performance above 144fps at 1080p max settings, 100fps at 1440p, and 60 FPS at 4K with AA disabled. There were some dips at 4K, but overall it was a solid experience. I’m aware the mode involves more players per match, so it might not perform as well, but I thought sharing this could help others.
Are there comparable dips at 4K when using the lowest settings?
