Ensure CMOS is reset and apply "default optimized settings" or a similar option if prompted. Then install into Windows and check if the issue resolves. If it doesn’t, it likely points to faulty RAM or incompatibility.

I increased my system's speed to a practical XMP level but Asus doesn't endorse it. Adjust the RAM speed then configure all CAS or other RAM settings to Auto. Restart. Keep using these new settings as long as they function well and your system remains stable, you won't experience any performance drops.

It seems the issue isn't with the RAM anymore, so it might be the motherboard or stock cooler.
