The previous components have arrived, but there seems to be an issue with the power supply. It's powered on yet not starting up properly.

It varies; if the main ATX power plug is connected, it may start but won’t boot properly without the CPU power connector. Swapping CPUs usually requires updating the BIOS even for a simple fix.

I connected the 8 and 16 pins, but what should I do next? Consider switching to a different PSU. My previous unit is an AMD model with an AM3+ connector, so I can't make changes there. A YouTube reviewer mentioned testing an i5 3470—it worked; my i5 3570 likely will too.
