I5 3570, just delivered 8 hours ago. From the front its look fine, but when look at an angle with adequate lightning, it's like scratches or something.... This is my first time changing CPU (and motherboard btw), so i don't know if this cpu still usable or not. My newly build rig definitely not POST (not even BIOS screen show up), and beeping 6 times. Using motherboard x-star b75 (bet u guys never heard it, ahahhaa)

Check functionality is essential; it’s the best approach to confirm. Everything should work as expected.

Have you checked for a BIOS update prior to the upgrade? Generally, the motherboard requires a BIOS update to work with 3rd generation CPUs.

Yes, sorry if I'm not explaining well enough...I've already tested it on the new motherboard, but it still doesn't post.

You're wondering about upgrading a motherboard when it won't boot, but you have a CD drive handy.

I don't have a computer, but I understand your question about previous setups and components.

I discovered an Intel support guide mentioning six beeps as a RAM issue. It points to a specific article, but I'm not sure if every board needs to follow this or just certain Intel NUC models.

I don't it's a RAM issue, i tried to remove all the RAMs (so only PSU,CPU,GPU) it registered 4 beeps (so i think if it's a RAM issue, the output is 4 beeps) When i plug them all again (RAMs, CPU, GPU, PSU) it returned to 6 beeps. Also, already tried only using 1 RAM in each slot accordingly, still 6 beeps
