Warzone’s first-person shooter performance is struggling.
I ran another test using the benchmark to ensure consistency: [https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/30101376](https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/30101376). I have XMP enabled in my BIOS, but it’s showing a speed of 2133 MHz – that seems odd. I've tried adjusting the settings, but nothing changes; my motherboard is actually designed for 4000MHz. Here’s the CPU ID information: The temperature readings are around 40-45°C for the CPU and between 60°C and 63°C for the GPU.
Just wanted to chime in and say I’m experiencing similar problems too. I'm seeing significant frame rate drops with my setup, along with occasional 2-second freezes while playing Warzone. My specs are pretty comparable to the original poster’s:
* i7 9700k processor
* Gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard
* EVGA RTX 2070 Super graphics card
* 16GB Corsair DDR4 RAM @ 2400MHz (upgrading to 32GB @ 3600MHz today)
* Samsung EVO Pro M.2 for the OS and Samsung EVO 860 SSD for the game
* Corsair 850 PSU
* 144Hz monitor – I’m playing at 1080p to accommodate my older eyes
* In Warzone, I can't consistently achieve more than around 70fps. In Modern Warfare (like TDM), I sometimes get up to 110-120 fps.
I’ve tried countless solutions – including using Notepad++ to edit files and implementing all the suggested fixes – but nothing has worked so far. It seems like you're not alone in this, OP!
Hi Jay, so it turned out a CPU issue btw. Cpu lost contact with MOB and is not boosting/executing correctly. I tried everything possible as well.
I got the asus z390 edge gaming ac and an I7 -9700k ram pumped to 4000Mhz. All this on base stock - now I am at 170 fps on low settings mainly and only a few normal.
you have a HW fault - it must be.
Take it down to a shop and get them to disassemble re-assemble and check.
best of luck
as for the 2 seconds delay i am also getting that - less in multiplayer. Reason must be activsion servers. I already did the basic ping router tests and i have no issues on my side -seems an activision issue (the three yellow squares on the left side)
hold on
